The review meeting of the "Block Level Child Protection Committee"

The review meeting of the "Block Level Child Protection Committee" constituted in the development block Baragaon under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 was held under the chairmanship of BDO Mr. Dipankar Arya and in the presence of Child Protection Officer Mrs. Nirupama Singh, progress in the meeting. Mrs. Neelam Patel and Mr. Deepak Pujari from Path Foundation participated. The following decisions were taken in the meeting:

1- Regular meetings of village level child protection committee should be held in all gram panchayats.

2- Cooperation of voluntary organizations should be taken to regularize the meeting of village level child protection committee.

3- Orientation and training of all village heads and gram panchayat assistants on the subject of village level child protection committee.

4- Child marriage should be prevented at the level of village level committee.

5- To provide benefits to as many eligible children as possible from the Chief Minister Child Service Scheme.

large number of girls and women have to face the problem of menstruation. They cannot express the situation because our society does not allow fighting and talking about this stigma with respect to their dignity. The health of girls and women is a big issue. Pragati Path Foundation continuously works with women and adolescent girls freedom from words like stigma which given by the society. Pragati Path Foundation organizes meetings and awareness about menstrual education and ensures distribution and use of sanitary pads through pad banks.
