COVID-19: A War Against Hunger:


Varanasi is the huge population District; lots of people depend on Jobs and daily Wages. Some families depend on migrant people who go the other city for this cause, more and more people depend on daily wages. Thousands of poor and vulnerable population are facing the most difficult times during this nationwide lock down. We are reaching out to provide support and cater to the food needs of the most vulnerable population-elderly, persons with disability, single women headed households, migrant workers and daily wage earners. We were adopted a great deal of measures to protect the poorest and most vulnerable people from hunger. However the requirement is huge and government cannot alone reach every one. We provide the dry ration to the most vulnerable people as identified by Self Help Group, Adolescence group, Local Volunteer. The volunteer are maintaining social distancing and following hygienic practices while doing food distribution work.

They cannot express the situation because our society does not allow fighting and talking about this stigma with respect to their dignity. The health of girls and women is a big issue.
