Ensuring Social Protection focused on capacity building of Community Leaders (CLs) in 20 Gram Panchayat at Baragaon Block and it emphasised on promoting different levels of campaigns led by CLs with the handholding support by Pragati Path Foundation. 

Dakhal Samajik Suraksha Sangthan (CBO) 

The ESP network has established efficient and well-functioning Community Convergence Facilitation Forums (CCFFs) called Dakhal Samajik Suraksha Sangthan, which provide crucial services for people from marginalised communities to access government schemes and entitlement. Dakhal is one of the most important parts of these programs. There are 60 community leaders are conducting the block level meeting and these leaders are representative 3000 House hold voice of village level. ESP effectively contributes to raising awareness about climate-induced vulnerabilities and has established platform for impact communities to find solutions for making communities more climate-Resilient. 

Story on RTE: Sangita Devi is block level community leader of Dakhal Samajik Suraksha Sangthan, she is only 39 years old, she has 3 children and she is home maker. She is passed 8th class, she wants to get more education but family get married earlier and then she did not continue study. She is active leaders of Dakhal Sangthan and she very dedicated for our role. Once time; Sangeeta took the training on Right to Education. Under right to Education campaign she has got 5 admissions done in reputed school. She is feeling very happy and proud. Every child’s family members thanking to Sangita.
