Menstrual Hygiene Day

  “Together for a hashtag # PeriodFriendlyWorld ”, urging collective action to ensure that menstruation does not limit access to education, health, or opportunity. MERA Sakhi and their family especially her mother and sister in law is combined and together talk on menstrual experience and they have shared their experience with enthusiasm in the program of “Bleed with Pride”. The Aunti’s and Bhabhi’s share the story when she experienced our first period. Some are called name “Bawal”. We talk about the clothes pad under tag line of पैड ही तो है this was very unique and different communication. Our young leaders Archana Yadav who had taken the session and give the information about how to manage Balaji Pad and why important fo r us.

  Young generation is coming in the handicraft sector. One step ahead towards economic resilience. Meet Anjali, emerging leaders from marginalized communities. She has stand and giving outstanding performance in Digital marketing. The young leaders are coming from our community and they having challenge the Conservative thinking. A young girl entrepreneur takes the initiative to promote and economic development in the handicraft sector. A stereotype society has not given the access to promote and spread their art. It has been proved that women can change their economic condition by breaking these barriers. Meet anjali Prajapati, She is 20 years old and she studies B.Com 2nd years. Anjali's mother is a women artisan and her mother is fighting for own identity. Anjali knew about the presentation, marketing, branding, packaging and telling stories.

Celebrating International Labors Day

 We are very excited to share the journey of Shageena with the destination migrant workers. Meet Shagina Parveen, a young leader who takes initiatives with a bold attitude and hard work. She has been selected as the best leader of the year 2024-25 for her outstanding performance. Pragati Path Foundation encourages all team members. Pragati Path Foundation is working with 20 , 000 workers living in Varanasi who have migrated from other cities and states and are working in various construction sectors of Varanasi. Through the Targeted Intervention under National Aids Control Program 10000 migrants were screened through CBS camps and prevented of HIV AIDS.

celebrated the International Women day

  We celebrated the International Women day with the Women artisans in Shastri Ghat, Varuna Bridge at Varanasi. There were 10 women artisans have participated from 10 Handicraft Product which is different district, villages and blocks. The women artisans were exhibit and display of Wooden Lacquer ware, wood carving, Zari Jardoji, Machiya, Moonj Craft, Gulabi Minakari, Jute Bag, Panja Dari, Wall hanging and Stone carving. The women artisans are presented to details with the important of the product. The women artisans lead the program with the identity as women artisans. The young girls were performing with the happiness and empowering. They play the Drama, Dance and sent the message to all the devoted for her own identity. Under the SHADES Program, We focused on the SDG Goal of 5 (Gender Equality) and 8 (decent work and Economic Growth).   Pragati Path Foundation recently conducted an exposure visit to Sultanpur to connect with women artisans involved in the SHADES program, specializing in wood carving and lacquer ware crafts. Before the visit, we engaged in various activities and training programs designed to enhance their skills and empower them towards entrepreneurial success. The overarching goal is to foster self-reliance and establish a strong entrepreneurial identity for each woman artisan. We meet the women artisans are there who are engaged in Moonj craft at Sultanpur. They are creating furniture and decorative items. They market their products both locally and through e-commerce channels. The women artisans visited the common facility Centre (CFC) and these CFC are provided the additional support to the increase the production of huge quantity and quality base.
